James Vowles
James P. Vowles, born 1979 in Felbridge, is a British motorsport engineer, currently working in Formula One with the Mercedes team as their Chief Strategist.〔(Mercedes GP Art of Strategy ). 1 October 2010. Retrieved 1 October 2010〕

Vowles attended the International School of Geneva, graduating in 1997. He went on to the University of East Anglia obtaining a degree in Computer Science in 2000, followed by a Master's degree in Motorsport Engineering and Management from Cranfield University in 2001, receiving the Prodrive Award of Excellence. He is married to Victoria Vowles, Partner Services Director at Mercedes AMG Petronas.
